Board

The Board has four ordinary members:


György Horvath, Chairman

György Horvath, Chairman, Innovator, Retired Professor of Gothenburg University. Specialist in Gynecological Oncology and Gynecology & Obstetrics. He has conducted both clinical and experimental research, mainly within gynecological cancer and especially within the ovarian cancer area. He has written or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications. During his 30 years, he was a supervisor for six PhD students, all of whom graduated with a PhD in gynecological cancer.


Jan Pilebjer, Member

Jan Pilebjer, member, Business Developer / Business Intelligence Officer, GU-Ventures, Gothenburg, is essentially a civil economist. He has worked in major worldwide companies as well as started and operated smaller contractors in both diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. Among his international and industrial experiences are companies such as Baxter Healthcare Inc., Nycomed AS, KabiVitrum AB, Medirox AB, Biopool AB and Upjohn AB, which have had him based in countries such as Switzerland, the United States and Denmark.


Magnus Hök, Member

Magnus Hök, member, Entrepreneur who started, operated and internationalized companies with medical devices for the healthcare sector. Has been part of the management of private healthcare providers responsible for the operation of diagnostic departments. Works as strategic and operational support for start-ups in MedTech / E-Health / Healthcare. Has a Master of Science from KTH / Technical University of Darmstadt and an MBA from Henley Business School.


Nils Crona, Member

Nils Crona, Doctor, Obstetrics and Gynecologist, Subspecialized in Gynecological Tumor Surgery. Many years of management and leadership experience in health care, from head of operation to hospital manager, in university healthcare, county health care and primary care. U.N. Head of Obstetrics at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Ongoing board assignments within Helsa AB, CollaboDoc AB (ordf), etc. Chairman of the NHS, Network for Health Care. Chairman EpiLife - Center for Epidemiological Research at the University of Gothenburg.
